Summary and Suggestion

Purpose of Practicum

As long as I undergo the sea teacher program. I feel the purpose of practicum has been accomplished, such as improving English language skills, increasing the teaching skills of a teacher, conducting cultural exchanges between countries, and increasing knowledge from that country.

Procedur of Practicum

In this program, we have several activity that have been accomplished. The first week, We were introduced to lecturers and volunteers who would help us through the program, then we were invited to tour the university to see facilities that supported academics. 

In the second week we observe and teach, as well as the third week. For the fourth week we walked into town and bought souvenirs

There are even every Sunday we have travel schedules to various places.

Outcomes of Practicum

After I joined the sea teacher program, I felt more confident in teaching. Then I also confidently spoke in English and of course got knowledge about education in Vietnam.

The Challanges of Practicum

When joining this program, I was challenged to improve my English speaking skills. A month before joining the program I practiced hard in learning English from tenses to gramer. I also often remember and memorize new vocabulary words.

Overall Impression

The most profound impression in my opinion is the compilation of me and my friends in Vietnam, exchanging cultures. From that aspect I got friends from Vietnam who were very good, not only from the university, I also made friends with my students at the school where I practiced teaching.

Suggestions for future improvement

I really like this program. In the future, I hope that this program will continue and increase cooperation with other Southeast Asian countries. And it would be better if there were scholarships that supported the performance of students who took part in this program
