School Profile

Kim Hong Secondary school from its establishment until now just 63 years old. 33 years of birth, growing up is a process of transformation. from the change in development scale to admission, separation, and re-import. before 1975 in Cao Lanh Province in former Kien Phong Province (now Dong Thap province), there was only public high school. school year 1956-1957 Kien Phon Public School was established with two the 7th grade (6th grade) school located at Cao Lanh Primary School. The Principal is Mr. Phan Van Tai. in 1961-1962, the current relocation school was the tile row of Cao Lanh Town High School (the current school building is a traditional row).

Academic year 1973-1974 Kien Phong Public High School changed its name to Nguyen Quang Dieu High School (the name of a ptriot in Cao Lanh). after April 30, 1975, the school split in two schools, Vinh Phu high school, the school’s name was twinned with Long Chau Sa Province during the resistance war and the April 30 secondary school. school year 1977-1978 30/4 middle school changes to Cao Lanh I PTCS and Vinh Phu High school was changed to Vinh Phu High Scool.

Academic yer 1985-1986 Cao LanhI PTCS was changed to Kim Hong PTCS (alias of Vietnamese armed forces hero, whose real name is Tran Thi Thu from Hoa An – Cao Lanh Town). at the beginning of the second semester of the 1988-1989 school year, Kim Hong Secondary School and Vinh Phu High School re-entered as Cao Lanh Town High School.

at the beginning of the second semester of the 2003-2004 school year (February 2004), the high school in the town was divided into two schools: Cao Lanh TX High Scool and Kim Hong Secondary School.

thus, the information and development of Kim Hong Secondary School has gone through many name changes.

Academic Support System

Kim Hong Secondary school is equipped with various facilities. like, classes equipped with air conditioners, blackboards, televisions, projectors, fans. Every student has a textbook . Then, the school has a biology laboratory, a physics laboratory, a computer room, a student room, a library and a canteen.

Teaching System

The teaching system at this school is; The teacher provides learning within 45 minutes where the teacher also uses several methods of teaching like, presentation, Q&A, group discussion. the teacher prepares the best possible lesson plan and also doing warm up activity when learning is taking place before the main activity.
